This week :  4th of July Weekend.  See you on Tuesday for Afton

Here's a definition of a warm-up.   About 17-18mph on the flats.  Take it easy on the hills.  About 20 minutes.  In other words you shouldn't be going as hard as you can. Caution:  Too slow is dangerous as the people in the back of a big pack keep running up on the front guys.  Just take what the roads give you during the warm-up.

2008 Cycling Season: Every Tuesday night (April - Sept) a bunch of club members and others do a training ride from Ramsey Beach in White Bear Lake. We leave about 5:45 and do anywhere from 30-50 miles depending on the time of year. Another ride (the SE group)  leaves at the same time and does 20-40 at a Shorter/Easier pace. If you'd like to join us drop me a line at the e-mail link at the top of the page and I'll put you on the mailing list and answer your questions. We even do a time trial about once a month.  You MUST be a member of the club to join the rides. Please read ride guidelines and paceline etiquette on the left.  You also have to join the Summer version of the club to ride this year. See info above on how to register/join online
